Military Mobile C4 System, Forward-Based Military Units
The Silentel system provides tools and services for command&control, multimedia communications, computers and variety of mobile devices. Military units can leverage existing public GSM network infrastructure for ad-hoc secure communication with Silentel in areas where public networks are expected to operate. Additionally, military units can deploy a private GSM "network-in-a-box", or WiFi/WiMax networks, that provide continuity of communications in the case of "planned" or unplanned public network outages. Forward-Based Military Units can use their tactical radios or enhanced Silentel devices to communicate seamlessly between each other or to the remote command & control. The integration between the different communication systems is achieved by Silentel’s Radio Gateways. The Forward-Based Military Units can then communicate securely within this private network and can link to other networks (e.g. Silentel’s Mobile Satellite Access Point) to extend their secure communications back to remote command and control room, providing invaluable real-time video, photo, chat, SMS and voice to intelligence gatherers and decision makers.
