Besides structural funds and community programs several other financial mechanisms that can support good projects and help you with their implementation exist. In Slovakia the following financial mechanisms for specific projects are available:

• EEA Financial mechanism– support for projects in a wide range of areas (life environment protection, support for sustainable development, preservation of the European cultural heritage, development of human resources, health and childcare, research, regional politics, interregional activities, etc.)
  
  
• Norwegian Financial Mechanism – support for projects a wide range of areas (life environment protection, support for sustainable development, preservation of the European cultural heritage, development of human resources, health and childcare, research, regional politics, interregional activities, etc.)
  
  
• INTERREG – program of interregional cooperation in Slovakia (Slovakia - Austria, Slovakia – the Czech Republic, Slovakia – Hungary, Slovakia - Poland) in various areas
  
  
• Slovak Research and Development Agency (APVV) – support for innovative projects
